Sophie Massey is thrilled to be faculty at St. Michael Catholic School as the 2nd Grade teacher. Mrs. Massey grew up in Denver, Colorado and attended Baylor University, where she received her BA in English and Psychology. During her time at Baylor, she discovered her passion for understanding and supporting child development and learning, and felt called to contribute to the faith formation of young people. This prompted her to receive her Masters in Education from the University of Notre Dame. Prior to working at St. Michael Catholic School, Mrs. Massey taught 2nd Grade at a Catholic school in northern California. In her free time, Mrs. Massey loves reading, painting, and spending time outdoors!
Mrs. Massey counts it a unique blessing and privilege to be able to be able to share the Gospel and foster students' faith and love for God. She is looking forward to partnering with families to support students' spiritual, academic, and personal growth this year!
