Mary calls herself a handmaid or servant of the Lord. What do you think she means? What
are some ways that you can be a servant of the Lord?

Jesus gave His mother, Mary, to us to be our mother, too. Why do you think He did this? How should we behave toward Mary since
she is our mother in Heaven? Do you prefer to pray aloud or to pray silently? Why do you think both ways of prayer are important?
