Read Across America Week

During Read Across America Week, (Feb 27 through March 3) we will have daily "Drop Everything and Read" (D.E.A.R.) time in the classrooms. During this time, students will be allowed to read a book of their choosing. To make this time of day even more enjoyable, students are invited to participate in these daily D.E.A.R. time themes. (Your child's teacher may have adjusted these themes based on their classrooms; be sure to check official teacher communications!) 

• Monday: Read to a friend (bring a stuffed anumal to read to)
• Tuesday: Enjoy the beach (bring a beach towel for reading time)
• Wednesday: Under the stars (bring a flashlight to read with)
• Thursday: Relax and read (bring a pillow to use while reading)
• Friday: Hats off to reading (bring a hat to wear while reading)
